“This country, its people and its resources have all contributed to my success and I feel that it is my moral obligation to return the favour. In doing so I have founded the QVDB Foundation in hope of making a difference for the people of South Africa and in doing so inspire others to do the same”.
It is my mission to help our people and I am always on the look-out for new ventures that boast great potential, whether it be economical or for the greater good. Our current projects range from building wells in underprivileged areas to development centre’s focusing on providing individuals with skills they will need to go out into the workplace.
I have taken it upon myself to go beyond the clean water crisis and assist fellow South Africans with the QVDB Foundation Initiative #ActofGenerosity to help alleviate their burdens of outstanding bills. I hope to help as many South Africans as possible with this initiative by lightening their financial loads out of my own pocket.
100 MAD
Published by Quinton Van Der Burgh, “100 Making a Difference” is a coffee table book that highlights the most impactful social champions in the world, from activists, advocates and celebrities.
The book is the brainchild of celebrity photographer and humanitarian John Russo. Seven years in the making, “100 Making a Difference” was created to raise awareness to charities around the world, those that support them and how they are making a difference in the lives of others.
100 MAD is a 100% philanthropic venture whereby all proceeds of the book go towards the charity organisations featured within.
GENEROSITY WATER
Generosity water is more than a water company – we do not only use the finest filtration to produce the highest quality alkaline water with a stable pH balance of 9.0 but for every bottle sold we donate a portion of the proceeds to building boreholes throughout South Africa in association with the Quinton van der Burgh Foundation.
We brought Generosity Water into the South African market in 2015 with a clear and simple mission: To provide clean drinking water to millions of people throughout Africa. Our vision is to assist in the eradication of the global water crisis, starting with our home country. Our ethos is that no person can achieve dignity or the realization of any human right without access to clean and safe drinking water. Since the start of our relationship with the Quinton Van der Burgh Foundation on 1st March 2018, we have assisted in helping over 200 000 people gain access to clean drinking water.
